Billet offers in North China remain at same levels today on account of limited buying. Prices witnessed some correction the day before.
On limited availability of the material Billet prices in Northern China were unexpected to fall further after yesterdays downward trend.
Billet price are kept at same levels in Tangshan city of China at RMB 3,600/t ($566/t) on low trading volumes.
In Yangang city of China, Billet prices have shown no movement from around a weeks time as few queries failed to push up current offers (RMB 3,628/t, up by RMB 8/t from last week).
(Ex work price including 17% VAT on cash payment basis).
On account of steady iron ore prices alongwith limited stock of Billet, offers will not reduce much.
