BigMint’s weekly benchmark assessment for HR plate (20-40 mm, Gr E250 Br.) climbed by INR 2,000/t ($22/t) w-o-w to INR 58,400/t ($633/t) as of 11 Mar’26 against INR 56,400/t ($611/t) recorded in the previous week. The increase was driven by limited material availability and ongoing geopolitical uncertainty. Prices are quoted ex-Mumbai for the distributor-to-dealer segment and exclude 18% GST.
