Baltic Dry Index rebound d-o-d amid recovery in large vessel segments

The Baltic Dry Index rose 0.4% d-o-d (7 points) to 1,926 on 11 Mar’26, supported by gains in the Capesize segment amid fixtures happening at higher levels while Panamax and Supramax segments faced pressure from limited demand.

• Capesize: BCI surged by 2.9% (72 points) to 2,574.
• Panamax: BPI fell 1.6% (30 points) to 1,831.
• Supramax: BSI dropped 2.2% (30 points) to 1,312.
