The Baltic Dry Index fell 7.1% d-o-d (147 points) to 1,919 on 10 Mar’26, reaching a one-month low, as demand for shipping raw materials weakened, vessel availability remained high, and geopolitical disruptions continued to affect major trade routes.
- Capesize: BCI declined by 11.7% (333 points) to 2,502.
- Panamax: BPI fell 2.8% (53 points) to 1,861.
- Supramax: BSI dropped 2.3% (31 points) to 1,342.
