Indian Billet buyers asking for lower priced material

Billet offers show no gains today due to sluggish demand and dull finished sales. Manufacturers cut offers on handful of inquiries. Rains affect demand in Southern India but manufacturers will be happy if prices stand at present levels.

Buyers are asking for Billet at reduced offers. Whereas, sellers are  not ready to make any deals but prefer to wait.

A trader in Bhilai sold 200 tons at Rs 32,700/MT instead of 600 tons at Rs 32,600/MT. Sellers in Rourkela are willing to offer 300 tons or above at not less than Rs 31,600/MT.
