Baltic Dry Index rebounds d-o-d on stronger cargo activity

The Baltic Dry Index increased by 1.09% (23 points) d-o-d to 2,140 on 27 Feb’26. The index was supported by improved cargo enquiries and fixture activity at higher levels across vessel segments.

• Capesize: BCI rose by 0.16% (5 points) to 3,056.
• Panamax: BPI increased 1.36% (26 points) to 1,942.
• Supramax: BSI gained 3% (39 points) to 1,338.
