Taiwan: Walsin Lihwa lifts Mar’26 stainless steel prices on higher input costs

Taiwan’s Walsin Lihwa has raised stainless steel prices for Mar’26 deliveries. The 316 series saw the sharpest hike at TWD $4,000/t ($128/t) , while 300 and 400 series prices rose TWD $2,000/t ($64/t) and TWD $1,000/t ($32/t) , respectively. Prices of the 200 series remained unchanged. The adjustment follows tighter Indonesian nickel ore quotas, firmer molybdenum, chromium, and scrap prices, and an expected demand recovery following the Chinese New Year holidays.
