India: Over 100,000 t of iron ore booked in auctions from Karnataka

Karnataka-based miners sold 104,000 t of iron ore.

• NMDC Kumaraswamy: 84,000 t of fines (Fe 60.54-61.52%) were sold at INR 2,844-3,042/t against the base price of INR 2,834-3,002/t on 21 Feb’26.
• SKMEPL: 20,000 t of lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 63-63.10%) were sold at INR 6,010-6,310/t against the base price of INR 6,000/t on 23 Feb’26.
• SKMEPL includes royalty, DMF and NMET while NMDC excludes.
