Indian ferro chrome export prices to China remained steady w-o-w at 97 cents/lb CNF, supported by firm chrome ore costs, although trading activity was subdued ahead of the Lunar New Year. Meanwhile, offers to South Korea and Japan increased by 5 cents/lb to 105 cents/lb and 107 cents/lb CNF, respectively, following transactions concluded at these higher levels, according to market sources.
