India: RINL floats procurement tender for 670 tonnes of ferro silicon

Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL) has issued a purchase tender to procure 670 t of ferro silicon (Si 70% min, 25-50 mm) for its Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. The bid submission deadline is 24 Feb’26. Delivery is scheduled within 120 days from the date of the purchase order. BigMint assessed ferro silicon prices (Si 70%, 25-150 mm) at INR 95,000/t ($1,049/t) ex-Guwahati on 9 Feb’26.
