India: Over 210,000 t of iron ore booked in auctions from Karnataka

Karnataka-based miners sold 211,550 t of iron ore on 4 Feb’26.

• NMDC Kumaraswamy: 80,000 t of lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 62.77-64.16%) were sold at INR 4,237-4,361/t and 120,000 t (Fe 60.17-64.4%) fines at INR 2,738-4,484/t.
• R Praveen Chandra: 11,550 t of lumps (6-30 mm, Fe 57.5%) were sold at a 13-14% premium over the floor prices of INR 5,200/t.

R Praveen Chandra’s prices are inclusive of taxes, whereas NMDC’s exclude them.
