Indian bank cuts interest rate for exporters by 50 basis point

India's largest lender the State Bank of India (SBI) on Thursday slashed interest rates for exporters by 50 basis points in order to increase inflows of dollar said market experts.

“Sole objective of cutting interest rates to exporters is to encourage exports which is bring dollar in and help Rupee to stabilize.” said an analyst at brokerage firm based in Mumbai.
