Sandur Manganese and Iron Ores Limited (SMIORE) sold 40,000 t of iron ore out of the 74,000 t offered from Bellary, Karnataka, on 28 Jan’26. Among lumps, 7,000 t (5-20 mm, Fe 55.8-56.9%) were booked at INR 3,882-4,321/t and 26,000 t (10-40 mm, Fe 55.3-56.7%) at INR 3,765-4,105/t, while among fines, 3,000 t (20-40 mm, Fe 55.9-56.4%) fetched bids at INR 3,862-4,078/t and 4,000 t (Fe 53%) at INR 1,810/t. Prices include royalty, DMF and NMEDT.
