Billet prices in India show downward trend today. Manufacturers cut offers on sluggish demand for the material.
Offers reduce in the range of Rs 200-500/MT in states like Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Odisha. Whereas, it is being offered unchanged in locations such as Gujarat, Goa and South India.
Demand has been stagnant due to low trading volumes in finished products. Market participants are not hopeful of an encouraging market anytime soon.
