India: Around 240,000 t of iron ore booked at auctions from Karnataka

Notably, 235,996-t iron ore were booked at Karnataka-based auctions on 20 Jan’26.

• NMDC Donimalai: 4,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 54%) were booked at INR 1,950/t and 40,000-t (Fe 56%) fines at INR 2,126/t.
• KSMCL: 72,000-t (10-40 mm, Fe 60.38-63.03%) lumps were booked at INR 3,652-4,436/t (base prices INR 3,652-4,426/t); 119,996-t fines (Fe 60.28-61.53%) were sold at INR 3,382-3,480/t against base prices INR 3,382-3,450/t.
