India: Leading stainless steel manufacturer hikes coil prices on firm nickel costs, global cues

India’s leading stainless steel coil manufacturer has announced its third price hike in Jan’26, effective 15 Jan. The company increased prices of 304-grade coils by INR 2,000/t and 316-grade coils by INR 3,000/t, while JT HR coils were raised by INR 2,000/t and JT CR coils by INR 1,500/t. The revision follows elevated nickel prices and firmer global sentiment.
