Billet markets in India continue to witness low demand. Manufacturers in states like Chhattisgarh, Goa and Rajasthan reduce offers while those in Odisha, Maharashtra and Southern region keep prices at same levels.
“Inquiries for Billet is almost nil and sales has come down to 100-200 tons now due to low demand of finished steel products”, said traders.
