- Australia’s Port Hay Point recorded coal shipments of 3.11 mnt in Dec’25, increased by 10% from 2.82 mnt in Nov, as per an official press release.
- However, shipments went down by 18.6% against 3.82 mnt in the year-ago period.
- The yearly decline was driven by weaker global coal demand and earlier production constraints, while the monthly increase reflects improved port operations and short-term recovery in export loadings.
