Indian key port cargo shipments rise y-o-y in Apr-Dec’25 on strong trade activity

Cargo shipments at Indian key ports increased by 8.21% y-o-y to 672.98 mnt in Apr-Dec’25, supported by higher coal, iron ore, and containerised cargo movement.

• Paradip’s shipments increased by 5% y-o-y to 115.25 mnt in Apr-Dec’25 from 109.51 mnt in Apr-Dec’24.
• JNPT’s shipments rose by 10% (68.37 mnt) y-o-y to 75.42 mnt.
• Vizag’s shipments up by 10% (60.47 mnt) y-o-y to 66.28 mnt.
• Deendayal’s shipment surged by 7% (108.72 mnt) y-o-y to 116.24 mnt.
