Taiwan’s stainless steel prices moved higher on rising input costs, with 304 CRC rebounding to around TWD $58,500/t ($1,851/t) , up TWD $4,000 ($126) m-o-m, supported by stronger nickel prices and higher offers from Indonesia’s Tsingshan. LME nickel prices neared $18,000, a 15-month high. However, spot trading remains sluggish amid limited working days and weak consumption, keeping near-term sentiment stable but volatile.
