With falling steel and spot iron ore prices in Chinese markets, Indian exporters have also cut Mill scale (Waste produced during re-rolling) offers by $2-3/t.
Exporters of Mill scale from India recently got active on high export duty on iron ore fines.
“We have cut our offers to $142-143/t CFR for 68/70 % Fe mill scale, last week it was $145-147/t CFR. Sentiments are weak and will remain weak till July end.” reported a mill scale exporter based in Kolkata.
Where as 63.5/63 Fe iron fines are hovering in the range of $136-138/t CFR.
