Nepal’s rebar prices fell by NPR 600/t ($4/t) w-o-w to NPR 73,500-75,500/t ($511-525/t) for cash guarantee sales and NPR 75,500-77,500/t ($525-539/t) for bank guarantee transactions. Demand remains soft, and the market is expected to remain weak in Dec-Jan amid a seasonal slowdown, the absence of new projects, and Sukra Asta-related construction pauses. Meanwhile, wire rod (IF-EAF) offers rose $5/t w-o-w to $466/t CNF Raxaul.
