South African thermal coal prices softened across Indian ports on subdued buying. At Paradip, RB2 (5,500 NAR) declined by INR 50/t to INR 8,900/t, while RB3 (4,800 NAR) remained unchanged at INR 7,550/t. At Vizag, RB2 slipped by INR 50/t to INR 8,900/t, and RB3 eased by INR 50/t to INR 7,550/t. Coal demand was muted, with buyers restricting purchases to immediate requirements.
