South African thermal coal prices rose across ports. In Paradip, RB2 and RB3 rose to INR 8,950/t and INR 7,550/t, respectively, up INR 50/t. At Vizag, RB2 increased to INR 8,900/t while RB3 climbed to INR 7,550/t, gaining INR 50-150/t. Despite firmer prices, portside inquiries remained absent, as elevated seaborne prices, high freights, and cargo shortages from RBCT constrained buyer appetite.
