Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market fell by INR 200/t d-o-d on 13 Dec’25, according to BigMint’s assessment. HMS (80:20) prices stood at INR 30,600/t ($338/t) exy. Trading activity in semi-finished and finished steel remained weak in the previous session, while scrap demand from Bhavnagar-based IF mills was also subdued. Consequently, scrap suppliers reduced their offers today.
