Nilanchal Ispat Nigam Limited, the largest producer and exporter of Pig Iron in India reduced Steel Grade price by Rs 400/MT to Rs 25,000/MT (Ex Cuttack) for the current month.
“Weak demand for the material and low production across the country pulled price on the lower side. Buyers are not ready to place any bookings at previous offers, Rs 25,400/MT”, said market participants.
“Ingot prices have also reduced and buyers are preferring pooled iron because of high Pig Iron prices”, they added.
