India: 55,000 t iron ore to be auctioned from Karnataka

Karnataka set to see auctions of 55,000 t iron ore.

• SMIORE : 11,000 t (5-20 mm, Fe 55.2-57.3%), 8,000 t (20-40 mm, Fe 56%), and 16,000 t (10-40 mm, Fe 55.7-56.5%) of iron ore lumps and 8,000 t of fines (Fe 52.6-53.9%) on 5 Dec.
• Vedanta : 12,000-t iron ore lumps (6-20 mm, Fe 49.5-55.5%) on 8 Dec.

Price are inclusive of royalty, DMF and NMEDT, except Vedanta.
