Taiwan’s stainless steel producer Yusco has raised prices for 304 HR and CR products by TWD 1,000/t ($39/t), citing improved market sentiment and higher production costs driven by a weaker Taiwanese dollar. Prices for 316L and 430 grades remain unchanged. Despite slightly lower raw material costs, overall expenses increased. Demand has strengthened as European buyers prepare for upcoming EU quota changes, while India’s BIS deadline extension supports export momentum.
