- Mobarakeh Steel’s base price hike lifted sheet prices and signalled firmer slab and billet costs, even as export offers slipped to $390/t FOB.
- Meanwhile, the government pushed for higher supply, but tightening DRI and a possible exchange-rate rise kept prices firm.
