Vizag Steel has recently concluded an export tender for 30,000 MT (20,000 MT bloom and 10,000 MT billet) which got expired on 18 Sept’16.
According to sources, the company received the highest bid for 10,000 MT billet (90 X 90 mm) at USD 332.75/MT, FOB Vizag Port and has concluded the tender at the same price bid. The cargo is likely to ship to Sri Lanka.
In the same respective tender, the other lot of 20,000 MT bloom (150 X150 mm) attracted 6 participants. The highest bid received was at USD 335/MT, FOB Vizag Port and the tender has been concluded at the same price bid. The cargo is likely to ship to Bangladesh.
It is to be noted that the shipment for the respective tender is scheduled till 31 Oct’16.
The previous tender concluded by Vizag Steel for 40,000 MT bloom was settled at USD 324/MT, FoB India, and the cargo was shipped to Thailand.
