India: Over 70,000 t booked at iron ore auctions from Karnataka

Recent iron ore auctions from Karnataka saw 70,000 t booked.

• KSMCL (21 Nov): 32,000-t fines (Fe 61.51-61.53%) booked at base prices of INR 4,460-4,462/t; 16,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 62.48%) booked at INR 5,018/t base price.
• Vedanta (22 Nov): 13,200-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 46.25-56.25%) booked at INR 1,700-4,450/t against base prices of INR 1,600-4,450/t; 12,000-t lumps (6-20 mm, Fe 55.5%) booked at INR 4,250/t.

Prices are exclusive of royalty, DMF, and NMEDT.
