BigMint’s bi-weekly domestic pellet (Fe63%) index for Raipur, remained stable at INR 9,700/t ($110/t) DAP.

Sponge iron prices across Indiaslipped by INR 50-200/tonne (t) d-o-d. Daily sponge iron trade volumes remained subdued at around 8,000 t.

BigMint’s billet index in Raipur edged lowerby INR 200/tonne (t) d-o-d. The conversion spread from sponge iron (PDRI) to billets for standalone induction furnaces in Raipur was assessed at INR 12,050/t.
