Indian Billet Offers Increase by Upto INR 500/MT D-o-D

Billet manufacturers in domestic market have further increased their offers by INR 100-500/MT against last day trade. Major price rise was recorded in west India due to shortage of scrap. In addition, low conversion spread in central & east India is also supporting rise in billet offers.

According to induction operators in west region, scrap suppliers in both domestic & global markets have slowdown their dispatches due to improved demand. It seems that billet offers in the regions may remain strong due to shortage of scrap.
