Nepal’s rebar prices fell by NPR 1,500/t ($11/t) w-o-w to NPR 71,500-73,500/t ($503-517/t) for cash guarantee sales and NPR 73,500-75,500/t ($517-532/t) for bank guarantee transactions. Prices dropped amid weak demand, influenced by political uncertainty, labour shortages during paddy harvesting, and delayed worker return due to the Bihar elections. Meanwhile, wire rod (IF-EAF) offers increased by $8/t w-o-w to $453/t CNF Raxaul.
