India: NMDC’s Karnataka iron ore auctions see over 350,000 t booked at decent premiums

In NMDC’s iron ore auctions from Karnataka, 354,000 t were sold of 362,000 t offered.

• Kumaraswamy (12 Nov): 98,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 56.09-62.45%) booked at INR 3,209-5,135/t against base price INR 2,829-4,385/t; 216,000-t fines (Fe 57.79-63.61%) booked at INR 2,779-5,342/t against INR 2,779-3,952/t
• Donimalai (11 Nov): 16,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 54%) and 24,000-t fines (Fe 56%) sold at base prices INR 2,827/t and INR 2,549/t, respectively.
• Prices include royalty, DMF, & NMEDT.
