Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang increased by INR 300/t d-o-d on 11 Nov’25, as per BigMint’s assessment. HMS (80:20) stood at INR 30,100/t ($339/t) exy. The market saw an increase in inquiries for both semi-finished and finished steel in yesterday’s trading session, driving active demand for scrap. Subsequently, scrap suppliers raised prices in response to increased buying interest.
