Russia, the world’s largest Pig iron exporter has exported 0.23 MnT Pig iron in Jul’16 according to Russian customs data.
Russian Pig iron exports have registered a downfall of 63% M-o-M in Jul’16 against 0.63 MnT in the month of Jun’16. On similar lines, exports fall by 36% on Y-o-Y basis against 0.36 MnT in Jul’15.
In the first seven months of 2016, the country exported 2.89 MnT Pig iron, slightly down by 0.3% as compared to the same period prior this year.
Country’s Pig iron exports are majorly directed towards the USA followed by Taiwan, Italy, and Spain. In Jul’16, exports to was recorded at USA 0.14 MnT, Taiwan 0.03 MnT, Italy 0.01 MnT etc.
