Nepal’s rebar prices rose by NPR 700/t ($5/t) w-o-w to NPR 73,500-75,500/t ($517-531/t) for cash guarantee sales and NPR 75,500-77,500/t ($531-545/t) for bank guarantee transactions. The price uptick followed the conclusion of the festive season, with expectations of a gradual improvement in demand. Meanwhile, wire rod (IF-EAF) prices declined by $20/t, settling at around $446/t CNF Raxaul.
