India: Iron ore offers in Chandrapur fall by INR 250-500/t ($3-6/t)

Iron ore fines (0-10 mm, Fe 63%) offers in Chandrapur, Maharashtra, fell by INR 250/t ($3/t) w-o-w to INR 5,700/t ($64/t) FOR Balharshah recently. Similarly, offers for iron ore lumps dropped by INR 500/t ($6/t) to INR 9,150/t ($103/t) FOR Chandrapur.
The downward revision comes in the wake of NMDC’s recent price cut and subdued demand from sponge iron and pellet manufacturers.
