India: SAIL, NMDC to auction over 12,000 t of crude coal tar

SAIL’s subsidiaries and NMDC are set to auction a total of 12,306 t of crude coal tar:

• Rourkela Steel Plant’s 22 Oct’25 auction failed due to high offers; it has been rescheduled to 28 Oct’25 with 9,500 t on sale.
• Bhilai Steel Plant’s 18 Oct auction also drew no bids; it is now set for 28 Oct with 2,506 t available.
• NMDC Steel Limited, Nagarnar, will auction 300 t on 28 Oct.
