India: Vedanta-FACOR’s ferro chrome output drops 28% y-o-y in Q2FY’26

Vedanta-FACOR’s ferro chrome production fell by 28% y-o-y to 19,000 t in Q2 FY’26 from 26,000 t in Q2 FY’25, mainly due to a one month planned shutdown of a furnace. Meanwhile, chrome ore output rose 24% y-o-y to 47,000 t in Q2 FY’26. On a q-o-q basis, chrome ore production fell sharply by 56% from 108,000 t, as mining operations were affected by the monsoon season.
