NMDC has scheduled an auction for 48,000-t iron ore from its Donimalai mines on 14 Oct. The material includes 40,000-t (10-40mm, Fe 53-54%) lumps and 8,000-t (Fe 56%) fines. In its last auction on 8 Oct, 28,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 53-54%) were booked at INR 2,748/t (premium of up to INR 10/t) and 20,000-t fines (Fe 56%) at a base price of INR 2,989/t, including royalty, DMF, and NMEDT.
