Iron ore fines (Fe 62%) spot prices edged up by $1.65/dmt d-o-d to $105.85/dmt CFR China on 9 Oct’25 as market activity resumed after China’s Golden Week holidays. Steel mills are focused on preserving profit margins after the holiday, increasing demand for medium- and low-grade fines. In China, port iron ore prices have risen due to post-holiday restocking, particularly for medium-grade fines.
