At Vedanta-FACOR’s ferro chrome auction today, the large 10-150 mm lot achieved an H1 price of INR 120,800/t exw, up INR 4,800/t over the base price. The smaller lot fetched INR 119,900/t, up INR 3,400/t from the base price. Overall, bids were 3-4% higher than base prices. The increase was supported by stronger chrome ore prices and a recent surge in offers from sellers.
