SAIL’s Bhilai Steel Plant conducted a crude coal tar auction of 2,292 t on 26 Sep’25, in which the complete quantity was booked at a weighted average price of INR 39,600/t ex-works. The result represents an INR 996/t increase compared to the previous auction for 1,497 t held on 16 Sep’25, where the weighted average price stood at INR 38,604/t ex-works.
