India: South African portside coal prices weaken further as GST deadline nears

South African coal prices extended declines this week amid muted trade. At Vizag, RB2 dropped INR 250/t w-o-w to INR 7,750/t, while RB3 slid INR 200/t to INR 6,800/t. At Gangavaram, RB2 fell INR 300/t to INR 7,900/t, and RB3 decreased INR 300/t to INR 6,800/t. Sellers slashed offers to liquidate stocks, yet buyers stayed sidelined ahead of the 22 Sept GST deadline.
