Tokyo Steel has revised scrap purchase prices for the first time this month, effective 13 Sep’25. In this latest round, the company increased prices by JPY 500/t ($3/t) at its Okayama and Kyushu plants, while rates at other plants remained unchanged. Post-revision, H2 scrap prices were as follows:
- Okayama: JPY 39,500/t ($268/t)
- Kyushu: JPY 40,000/t ($271/t)
