SAIL’s Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) is scheduled to auction 2,000 t, i.e., 11 lots, of crude coal tar on 16 Sep’25. In the previous auction conducted on 30 Aug’25, RSP had offered 9,000 t, which was fully booked. The material was sold at a weighted average price of INR 35,602/t, reflecting a decline of INR 3,759/t compared to the preceding successful auction.
