With the recent release of trade data by Turkey Customs, it is legible that the Ferrous Scrap import decreased by 46% M-o-M. The nation imported around 1.06 MnT during Jul’16 against 1.95 MnT during Jun’16. Imports were down by 31% Y-o-Y, Country’s import during Jul’15 was around 1.53 MnT.
• Ferrous Scrap import from United Kingdom registered a downfall of 47% Y-o-Y. Turkey imported 0.25 MnT ferrous scrap during Jul’16 and 0.17 MnT during Jul’15. A very nominal quantity was imported during Jun’16.
• Turkey imported 0.18 MnT Ferrous Scrap from Russia during Jul’16, registered a downfall of 18% M-o-M and 40% Y-o-Y. The nation imported around 0.22 MnT during Jun’16 and 0.30 MnT during Jul’15.
• Import from Belgium registered a downfall of 39% in Jul’16 M-o-M and 180% Y-o-Y. Nation imported around 0.14 MnT during Jul’16, 0.23 MnT during Jun’16 and around 0.05 MnT during Jul’15.
• Turkey imported around 0.11 MnT from France during Jul’16, witnessed a growth of 57% M-o-M. Imports during Jun’16 were around 0.07 MnT.
• Import from Netherlands was 0.09 MnT in Jul’16, registered a downfall of 71% M-o-M. The nation imported around 0.31 MnT during Jun’16, a very nominal quantity was imported during Jul’15.
• Around 0.08 MnT of Ferrous Scrap was imported from USA during Jul’16, registered a downfall of 86% M-o-M and 82% Y-o-Y. Turkey imported around 0.56 MnT during Jun’16 and 0.44 MnT during Jul’15.
• Import from Estonia were down by 20% M-o-M and by 200% Y-o-Y during Jul’16. The nation imported around 0.06 MnT during Jul’16, 0.05 MnT during Jun’16 and around 0.02 MnT during Jul’15.
• Import from Romania remained Stable M-o-M during Jul’16, registered a downfall of 40% Y-o-Y. Turkey imported 0.03 MnT during Jul’16 and Jun’16.
• Turkey imported 0.03 MnT from Denmark during Jul’16, registered a downfall of 40% M-o-M and 67% Y-o-Y. Country’s import from Denmark during Jun’16 was around 0.05 MnT and 0.09 MnT during Jul’15.
• Import from Latvia was down by 60% M-o-M during Jul’16. The nation imported around 0.02 MnT during Jul’16, 0.05 MnT during Jun’16.
• Most of the scrap imported by Turkey was of Iron or Steel (excluding Slag, Scale etc.). The nation imported around 1.05 MnT during Jul’16, registered a downfall of 44 M-o-M and 29% Y-o-Y. Imports during Jun’16 were 1.90 MnT and 1.50 MnT.
• Around 0.01 MnT of Scrap generated from alloy steel was imported by Turkey during Jul’16, registered a downfall of 75% M-o-M and 50% Y-o-Y. The nation imported 0.04 MnT during Jun’16 and 0.02 MnT during Jul’15.
