Colombia: Bulk coal, coke exports rise 16% m-o-m in Aug’25

Colombia’s bulk coal and coke exports (coking, non-coking, and met coke) reached 3.97 mnt in Aug’25, marking a 15.7% rise from 3.43 mnt in Jul’25 while dropping by 26.5% from 5.41 mnt in Aug’24. The Netherlands became the leading importer at 0.69 mnt, with volumes increasing significantly from 0.08 mnt in the previous month. Brazil followed, with imports rising to 0.57 mnt in Aug’25 against 0.29 mnt in Jul’25.
